In the textile industry, sewing thread lubrication is a vital process. By using appropriate lubricants, the performance of sewing threads can be significantly improved, including improving sewing efficiency, enhancing tear resistance, preventing thread breakage and thread skipping, thereby improving the overall strength and toughness of the thread. Lubricants can also give sewing threads antistatic properties and improve their smoothness, softness and glossiness during high-speed sewing.

Sewing thread lubricants are mainly divided into three categories:
1. Silicone oil and white oil mixture This mixture is usually used for traditional sewing thread lubrication treatment and can provide basic lubrication.

2. Dimethyl silicone oil This product has different viscosity grades, such as 350, 500 and 1000. Among them, dimethyl silicone oil with a viscosity of 500 and 1000 has become the mainstream choice in the market due to its wide applicability and good performance, especially suitable for sewing machines of normal speed.

3. Silicone wax dispersion This mixture is designed for high-speed sewing machines or occasions with specific temperature resistance requirements and can provide excellent lubrication performance.
