Description
IOTA 9600D Silicone Elastomer Gel is a blend of
cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone/vinyldimethiconecrosspolymer, it is a
translucent gel. This product could be dispersed in oil phase. It
can be formulated into W/O emulsions, water-in-silicone oil, and O/W emulsions
and anhydrous products to provide dry smoothness and a light silky skin,
non-greasy feel.

Non-volatile content (%, w/w): 12.00-12.75
Application
This product can be used in skin care, hair care, and other
potential formulations, such as sun care, color cosmetics, and styling aid,
etc.
How to use?
This product could be dispersed into the oil-phase using
simple mixing.
It can be added to the oil phase or silicone phase in an
emulsion formulation;
It can be post-added to emulsions provided the emulsion is
viscous enough for the products to be dispersed.
For ease use, blending with Dimethicone or cyclomethicone
may reduce its viscosity.
When heat is used, the material should be processed in an
enclosed vessel to prevent the cylcopentasiloxane from volatilizing;
The recommended processing temperature is not over 60℃.
The suggested usage level is 1-20%
Package
Packed with 20kg plastic drum or 200kg metal drum.
Storage and transportation
It is a non-dangerous product. In storage and transportation,
prevent from the exposure of moisture, acids, alkalis, the sun and rain directly. The product has 12 months shelf life from the date of
production at room temperature in seal-tight condition. The storage temperature
could not be over 60℃.
Cautions
This product is neither tested nor suggested in the medical and
pharmaceutical applications.
