silicone resin IOTA E25
Description:
Epoxy modified polysiloxane resin IOTA E25 has excellent high
and low temperature resistance, water and moisture resistance, good electrical
insulation properties, and arc corona resistance.
Its weather resistance, chemical resistance stability, and
corrosion resistance are also excellent. This product is widely used as a high
temperature resistant anti-corrosion coating, which can be two-component curing
at room temperature and can also be cured by baking at high temperature. It can
be used as class H insulating paint.
Technical index:
Appearance: light yellow to colorless transparent liquid, no
mechanical impurities
Solid content: 50±1%
Viscosity: 30~70 seconds (coating 4 cups)
Epoxy value: 0.03~0.06
Usage:
Two-component curing at room temperature, used with 650
polyamide or T-31. The added amount of 650 is 10% of the total resin; the added
amount of T-31 is about 5% of the total resin. Add 5-10% KH550 of the total
resin amount.
It can get better high temp. resistance after cured with silane
coupling agent. Be careful not to make the solvent too weak. Butyl ester, PMA,
butanol, etc. are recommended.
Precautions:
a. The dilution solvent used in this product must not
contain water, sulfur-containing compound pyridine and its impurities,
otherwise it will affect the adhesion, dryness and other properties of the
resin paint film.
b. During the processing of this product, a large amount of
flammable and explosive solvents will volatilize. Attention should be paid to
strengthening the ventilation on site,
paying attention to fire prevention, and strictly cutting off
the fire source. Operators should pay attention to labor protection.
c. The equipment and utensils used in the processing of this
product must be clean. Strictly prevent the mixing of dust, foreign matter and
water. d. Acids, alkalis, organic acid salts and amine compounds can accelerate
the curing of this product and affect the heat resistance and electrical
properties.
Therefore, this product should be strictly isolated from these
substances during storage.
Storage:
The storage period of this product is tentatively set for half a
year.
This product should be stored in a ventilated, cool and dry
place to prevent direct sunlight; prevent serious pollution by acid and lye,
and should isolate the fire source and keep away from the heat source.
Package: This
product is packed in 200kg drum.
