Special silicone has more special functions than ordinary silicone, such as: high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, anti-static, flame retardant and fireproof, foaming, conductive, liquid, oil resistant, oil self-lubricating, etc. Special silicone is a product independently developed to meet the unique performance of special products. It is widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, industry, aviation, security, mother and baby, etc. The excellent performance of special silicone meets people's high requirements for devices or consumer goods in production and life, and plays an irreplaceable special role.
Special silicone is mainly divided into the following types according to the use requirements:
1. Anti-static silicone: The surface resistance of anti-static silicone can reach 10 to the 5th to 9th power Ω, with excellent anti-static performance. It is widely used in the manufacture of suction cups, rubber rollers, buttons, sealing rings, mobile phone jackets, wrist straps, game controllers, electronic device trays, keyboard protective films, mining instrument housing protective covers, miscellaneous parts and other anti-static silicone products. Anti-static silicone also has multi-functional models with flame retardancy, high and low temperature resistance, high rebound, foaming, etc., to meet the special needs of more customers.
2. High temperature resistant silicone High temperature resistant silicone is mainly customized for products operating under high temperature conditions. It is mainly divided into two categories: 300℃ and 350℃. It can be used for a long time under high temperature conditions without deformation, anti-aging, and good rebound performance. It is used to manufacture high temperature resistant silicone products such as suction cups, electronic device trays, miscellaneous parts, pipes, oven sealing strips, and high temperature resistant protective covers.
3. High temperature resistant flame retardant silicone has the performance of high temperature resistance of 250℃ and fire retardant flame retardant reaching the US UL-94V0 level. It provides optional solutions for products with strict safety requirements.
4. Fireproof foaming silicone: It is a foaming silicone with fireproof performance. The foaming ratio can reach 300%. After vulcanization, it becomes a soft elastic material, and the foaming volume is 3 times the original; it can be used to make flexible silicone rubber products such as human models, insoles, shoulder pads, patches, and anti-slip mats. 5. Low-temperature resistant silicone: Low-temperature resistant silicone is designed for products that can maintain normal operation under extremely cold conditions. Its performance can reach -70℃ and continue to operate for a long time. It has high tear strength, good resilience, not easy to yellow, and good feel. This product can be molded and extruded, and can also be used to manufacture silicone products such as suction cups, electronic device trays, miscellaneous parts, pipes, cold storage room sealing strips, and ultra-low temperature protective sleeves.
6. Conductive silicone: Conductive silicone is widely used in many fields such as electronics, mobile communications, health care, and air transportation. The difference is that the insulation properties of ordinary silicone are modified into special silicone with conductive or even superconductive functions. The surface resistivity of conductive silicone is 0.5~2000Ω*cm and can be customized. It is widely used in various zebra strips, conductive black particles, mobile phone and notebook conductive pens, and the manufacture of sensitive capacitive screen mobile phone pen tips, shielding materials, conductive watch straps, conductive silicone sheets, conductive silicone pads, etc.
7. Liquid silicone: Special liquid silicone mainly includes two categories: flame retardant foaming type and mold silicone. Mold silicone also has the excellent property of high temperature resistance of 350°C. It is mainly used to make food molds, such as candy molds and cake molds; metal crafts, precision mold making, toys, alloy vehicles, large cement components, sandstone sculptures, gypsum product molds, rubber plates, rubber wheels, etc. or for special purposes.
