1. Application analysis
Among the existing heat-resistant adhesives, organic silicone adhesives are one of the excellent varieties. The varieties of organic silicone adhesives are divided into high-temperature-resistant adhesives, heat-resistant sealants, high-temperature-resistant strain adhesives and heat-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesives.So, what are the applications of organic silicone adhesives?
Poly organosiloxane is a linear polymer composed of alternating silicon atoms and oxygen atoms. After crosslinking and vulcanization, it has excellent high and low temperature resistance, atmospheric aging resistance, electrical insulation and elasticity.It can be used for a long time in the range of -60~200℃, and its physical and mechanical properties rarely change. Therefore, it is widely used in construction, electronics, automobiles, packaging, medical and health industries, showing an excellent momentum of development. The use of organic silicone adhesives and sealants continues to expand, and the variety and dosage are also increasing year by year.


2. Silicone resin
Organic silicone adhesives with pure silicone resin as the main material are generally made of xylene as the solvent and inorganic fillers such as asbestos powder, mica powder, zinc dioxide and zinc oxide are added.It is crosslinked, polymerized and cured at high temperature (270℃), has excellent high temperature resistance, can be used for a long time at 400℃, and is suitable for unstructured bonding and sealing at high temperatures.


Pure silicone resin adhesives are inconvenient to use due to the high curing temperature, and the bonding strength is not high, so they can only be used as unstructured adhesives.The use of one OH in epoxy, phenolic, and polyacetic acid can react with the siloxane in the silicone resin. After introducing such resins for modification, it can not only maintain the high temperature resistance of the silicone resin adhesive, but also reduce its curing temperature and improve the bonding strength.


Silicone resin can be used for roller anti-stick jacket, widely used in the textile industry, printing and dyeing industry, paper industry, rubber processing, plastic processing and other fields of various rollers, molds, pipelines, engine inner walls, food machinery, printing machinery hoppers, frying pan baking pan anti-stick coating, anti-rust and anti-slip coating of safety knives, etc.


Comparison between fluorine resin non-stick coatings and silicone resin non-stick coatings: The former has the disadvantages of high curing temperature, complex construction technology, low gloss of the coating film, and single color, so the scope of application is limited; Silicone resin non-stick coatings have the advantages of relatively low curing temperature, high gloss, changeable colors, and convenient coating. It is also very popular with many users in actual construction applications.Of course, fluorine resin non-stick coatings have a slight advantage over silicone resin non-stick coatings in terms of non-stick properties.
