Although the mechanical strength of pure silicone resin is relatively low, its high temperature resistance and mechanical properties can be significantly improved by copolymer modification with organic resins such as polyester, epoxy or phenolic.This modified silicone resin-based adhesive not only has excellent heat resistance, but also has good toughness, impact resistance and chemical resistance, so it is widely used in the manufacture of high temperature resistant structural adhesives.
