In October 2025, the Shandong Copolymer Silicone Technology Research Institute launched the second-generation GJ-100 phosphazene base catalyst, injecting new momentum into the green upgrading of the polysiloxane industry. This upgraded product retains the core advantages of the first generation—high catalytic efficiency, no metal residues, and no cyclic by-products—while optimizing preparation processes and updating raw materials, achieving comprehensive improvements in odor, formulation, environmental friendliness, and cost. Meanwhile, the institute’s newly developed polyurethane-modified silicone tackifier was published in an international SCI journal, successfully addressing the industry challenge of “instant adhesion when peeling” in acrylic sheets. These technological breakthroughs enable domestic silicone materials to gain dual advantages in performance and cost. Products such as low-cyclic vinyl silicone oils now meet stringent requirements in high-end applications like precision electronics and medical consumables, helping domestic companies overcome international technology barriers and enhance competitiveness in the global supply chain.
