Methyl silicone resin IOTA 6009

Performance:
IOTA 6009 is one kind of silicone resins. It is methyl polysiloxane which is composed of by methyl triethoxy silane afte hydrolysis, polycondensation and preparation. it contains hydrolytic gene, in the presence of a small amount of the catalyst, further into insoluble and infusible thermosetting resin three-dimensional network structure.
IOTA 6009 under the action of curing agent, ethoxy in it is easy to hydrolysis and hydroxyl easily condensation. In order to get not easy to peel thin film that coated on the surface of various kinds of plastic, metal, ceramics and other materials, usually only need to add 0.1-0.2% amine curing agent. Under high temperature or 60 ℃ -80 ℃. From few minutes to 1 hour is enough to get the film. So IOTA 6009 has low temperature fast curing characteristics.

The main characteristics:
formed film is very hard and transparent, good insulation properties, high and low temperature resistance, aging resistance, abrasion resistance, water proof and damp proof, high transmittance.  So it can be used as transparent surface coating and desiccant for glass, PMMA, gold imitation crafts, metal surface, such as poker, horn paper etc and improving plastic transparency. It also can be used as sealing materials for electrical and electronic components.  

It has very important action to be used in solar panels,the foamed film can improve the solar plate hardness, oxidation resistance and improve its light transmittance.
Specification：

Packaging, transportation and storage etc.

1. Products should be stored in clean, dry and sealed plastic drum (5 kg, 10 kg, 50 kg etc).
2. During transportation, it should prevented rain and sunlight exposure, according to the IMDG #61184 flammable liquid storage and transportation conditions.
3. The product should be stored in ventilated and dry place, storage temperature :-5~+35 ℃.
4. If meets with the 2nd and 3rd clause.The valid is six months after produced. After 6 months, it should be tested again according to the relative standard. To see whether it can be still use or not.
