Silicone-coated wound dressings provide a “thoughtful design”: they minimize adhesion to the wound, prevent tearing of new tissue during dressing changes, reduce patient pain, and maintain a moist environment that accelerates healing.

In the realm of cosmetic care, silicone also plays a vital role. Silicone gels in skincare products form breathable protective layers on the skin, locking in moisture without clogging pores, delivering a fresh and comfortable feel. Medical-grade silicone gels used in cosmetic fillers are rigorously tested for safety and can effectively improve wrinkles and skin depressions. It is precisely these unique advantages that make silicone an ideal material in the healthcare and medical field.
